On December 15th, Hengtong's "Lighthouse Factory" leadership initiative was officially inaugurated. Hengtong announced its ambitious plan: "Over the next three years, we aim to guide six industry-leading enterprises to become world-class benchmarks in smart manufacturing through the Lighthouse Factory model. Additionally, 35 mature enterprises employing digital technologies will achieve full-process digital management. Our newly built factories will fully integrate smart digital applications, propelling Hengtong to the forefront of Industry 4.0 leadership." This marks Hengtong's comprehensive and systematic action plan for smart manufacturing and digital capabilities, following its successful entry into the global Lighthouse Network.
Distinguished guests at the launch ceremony included Wan Ziping, Deputy Director of Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology; Wang Wei, Director of Wujiang District Bureau of Industry and Information Technology; Wu Niankang, Director of Intelligent Manufacturing Promotion Department of Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology; and Qian Jianlin, Executive President of Hengtong Group. The event was hosted by Lu Chunliang, General Manager of Hengtong Group's Operations Management Center.
During the ceremony, Liu Zhenhua, General Manager of Jiangsu Hengtong Optic-Electric Co., Ltd., shared insights and achievements in digital practices at the "Lighthouse Factory" - Hengtong Optic-Electric's smart manufacturing facility. Hengtong Optic-Electric has empowered high-quality production and operations by deeply integrating information technologies like 5G, artificial intelligence, and digital twins with advanced manufacturing. The company has implemented 27 advanced use cases covering the entire production process.
Lu Chunliang, from Hengtong Group, delivered a report on the "Hengtong Lighthouse Factory" leadership program. He noted that based on the national-level dual-platform - Hengtong HioT industrial internet platform - and its deep integration with AI technologies, Hengtong Optic-Electric has achieved innovative applications in fiber preform smart manufacturing, creating a model "Lighthouse Factory." Over the next three years,
Hengtong aims to continuously improve its HT-LDI construction and evaluation system, intensify training of digital business experts, and accelerate the implementation of the Lighthouse leadership program, aiding Hengtong in becoming a leader in Industry 4.0.

Wang Wei, Director of Wujiang District Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, commented on the effective model formed by Hengtong's recognition as a global "Lighthouse Factory," which has bolstered confidence in our intelligent development. He expressed hope that guided by Hengtong's international development strategy of 'thinking globally and acting along the Belt and Road,' the Lighthouse Factory will empower and energize efficient industrial development.
Finally, Wan Ziping, Deputy Director of Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, concluded the event. He stated, "This year, not only has Hengtong been successfully selected for the national-level dual-platform, but it has also become a global Lighthouse Factory. This achievement will go down in the history of Suzhou's industrial development. It has set a great precedent for Suzhou's new three-year plan for intelligent and digital transformation, serving as an exemplar.
