MPO product production process (before grinding)

1.Wear loose parts

(1) Before wearing loose parts, the fiber optic cable printing and appearance need to be inspected to ensure that the fiber optic cable meets the production requirements;

(2) MPO jumpers wear loose parts: tail sheath, crimp ring, stopper;

(3) The direction and sequence of self-checking is required after wearing the bulk parts.

 

2.Stripping

(1) First observe whether there is internal shrinkage of the optical fiber within the cable, if so, the fiber should be cut flat first;

(2) Use a ruler to measure the stripping length, and mark the outer skin;

(3) Use stripping pliers to cut out the opening in the cable skin, gently bend and pull out the stripped skin;

(4) Aramid retained and fixed with yellow tape straightening;

(5) Self-check the number of optical fibers, coating color is qualified, aramid and fiber damage.

 

3.Row fiber, and fiber

(1) According to the requirements of the process instruction book for the row of fibers (ZTE any bend 8-core MPO patch cord products and fiber in the order of blue, orange, green, brown, false fiber, false fiber, false fiber, false fiber, false fiber, yellow, purple, pink, light blue);

(2) After self-checking whether the order of fiber alignment is correct, level the fiber;

(3) Use the special merging clamp and merging glue to merge the arranged optical fibers;

(4) Wait for about 1min after the completion of the parallel fiber;

(5) Self-check whether the fiber is arranged correctly and flat, no loose fiber.

 

4.Fiber stripping

(1) Straighten the optical fiber, according to the stripping template for drawing lines, stripping fiber;

(2) Excess fiber using a special diagonal pliers to cut off;

(3) Use hot stripping pliers for fiber stripping;

(4) Self-check whether the fiber optic cable is thermally stripped clean, otherwise re-thermal stripping. If the fiber is scattered after stripping, the steps should be repeated and then re-stripped fiber.

 

5.Core pre-assembly

(1) Push the ferrule tail set into the through hole at the end of the ferrule, the tail set is pushed into the limit step for the standard in place;

(2) Self-check whether the direction and position of the insert tail handle assembly is correct.

 

6.Glue injection, glue suction

(1) from the core of the injection window injection to the core of the fiber optic hole position guide slot, you need to use a special injection tool (or bare optical fiber instead) for sub-injection;

(2) After the first injection needs to use the glue suction machine to suck glue;

(3) After sucking the glue, the end face of the core should be oval-shaped glue exposure, such as exposure of the amount of glue is not enough to suck the glue again.

 

7.Wear fiber, curing

Threading the fiber before the need to thread the spring in the cable and the band, with a paper towel moistened with alcohol to wipe the fiber clean;

Insert the core window upwards, insert the fiber core into the core of the suction glue;

Put the inserted product into the curing oven and cure it;

After baking for 5 minutes in the core window to make up the glue once, the glue can not flow out of the injection window, and then every 15 minutes to observe, such as the amount of glue is not enough to make up the glue again.

 

8.Cutting fiber, scraping glue

(1) Take out the cured MPO bare core for cooling;

(2) To be completely cooled after the insert core fiber cutting (first transversely cut the exposed fiber, and then push the fiber off) and scraping glue (if necessary).
