Connector Production Process

Leave a message

Fiber optic connector is a device used to connect optical fibers, which connects two optical fibers to achieve the transmission of optical signals.

According to different transmission media, common fiber optic connectors can be divided into single-mode and multi-mode connectors, and the connector structure is usually divided into various structures such as SC, FC, LC, ST, MU, MT, etc.

In the production process of connectors, the process includes: threading loose parts → peeling → threading fiber curing → crimping → grinding → testing → packaging

Grinding is one of the key processes in the connector manufacturing process, which requires the use of precision grinding equipment and grinding fixtures to grind the cured plug-in connectors to meet the standard requirements for 3D and optical performance of their end faces. During the grinding process, operators must strictly follow the process parameters for grinding and clean the end faces after each step.

It should be noted that fiber optic connectors are precision optical components that require special care during production to avoid damage or quality issues caused by improper operation. If any abnormalities are found in the production of fiber optic connectors, the process should be immediately reported for analysis and resolution of the problem.
