The overall structure of the Multi tube Single Jacket Figure 8 Aerial Cable is "8" shape, divided into three parts: cable, sling and optical cable. The cable core of the optical cable is loose set lamination structure, and the outer cable core is longitudinally clad with aluminum tape armor (steel tape/none). The cable core after the cable reinforcement and the longitudinal aluminum tape (steel tape/none) is co-extruded polyethylene sheath for comprehensive protection.

Product Introduction

The cable exhibits a dual-profile geometry ("8-shape" configuration) divided into three structural zones: core segment, suspension collar, and tensile reinforcement system.

At the core lies a metallic central strength member surrounded by helically stranded PBT buffer tubes. These gel-filled tubes house optical fibers in a dry core design, with interstices injected with water-blocking compound. Subsequent manufacturing options differentiate product variants:

- Armored configuration: Steel-aluminum tape shielding under extruded PE (Polyethylene) sheath

- Non-armored configuration: Direct PE sheath extrusion

Longitudinally integrated high-strength steel strand reinforcement runs through the suspension collar, this dual-component design provides mechanical support for aerial installation, enabling the cable to maintain structural integrity while suspended between poles or towers.
