product-800-800

FC to FC duplex fiber optic jumpers have high-quality components and precise manufacturing processes contribute to low insertion loss, ensuring minimal signal attenuation during data transmission. Manufactured and tested to meet ICE, ISO, and ROHS industry standards, HTGD is available in OM1, OM2, OM3, OM4, OM5, OS1 and OS2 fiber types, with FC connectors, and in a variety of cable diameters and materials. FC connectors are threaded and need to be screwed to ensure a strong connection. It is typically used in single-mode fiber optic systems, especially in applications requiring high mechanical stability. FC to FC duplex fiber optic cables are widely used in data centers, enterprises, FTTx, LAN and WAN, CATV networks, telecommunication network applications, and other areas where rapid infrastructure deployment is required, such as main wiring zones, horizontal wiring zones, and regional wiring zones.

Packaging

After all tests are completed, the fiber optic jumpers will be packaged according to the customer's requirements. Usually, we will use PE bag to pack the jumper cables of the small meter section, and then put them into a small carton; to ensure the safety, we will use paper spool to pack the large meter section, and finally both of them will be packed in carton again.

FAQ

Q1: Which is better LC or SC connector?

A: When comparing LC and SC connectors, the LC connector is often considered the better choice for various reasons. Being approximately half the size of SC connectors, LC connectors are now the preferred option for high-density connections. Their compact size is especially advantageous for equipment with limited space. While the LC connector might not be the most prevalent option currently, its popularity is steadily growing.

Q2: How do I identify a fiber connector?

A: To identify a fiber optic connector, you can often refer to the TIA 568 color code, which provides specific colors for connector bodies and boots: Beige is typically used for multi-mode fiber connectors. Blue is commonly used for single-mode fiber connectors. Green is often associated with single-mode APC (angled) connectors. These color codes help differentiate between different types of fiber optic connectors, making identification easier.

Q3:Why does fiber have 2 cables?

A: Fiber optic communication is done using a full duplex system, where each system uses 2 fibers for communication. One fiber is responsible for transmission from point A to point B and the other fiber is responsible for transmission from point B to point A. This arrangement allows both ends to send and receive signals simultaneously. This arrangement allows both ends to send and receive signals at the same time, thus increasing communication efficiency. Essentially, the choice of one or two fibers depends on the requirements of the communication system, and a full duplex system utilizes two fibers for simultaneous bi-directional communication.
