Composite Hybrid Fiber Optic Cable

Composite Hybrid Fiber Optic Cable
Details:
Single-mode or multimode fibers are housed in loose tubes made of high-modulus plastic, which are filled with a tube-filling compound. At the center of the cable is a metallic strength member. The loose tubes and copper wires (of the required specifications) are stranded around the central strength member to form the cable core. The core is filled with cable-filling compound and armored with corrugated steel tape. Finally, a PE sheath is extruded over the assembly.

FAQ

Q: What is an optical-electrical hybrid cable?

A: Opto-electric hybrid cable is a transmission medium that combines optical fiber and copper wire, which can achieve mixed transmission of optical signals and electrical signals.

Q: How to choose a suitable optical-electrical hybrid cable?

A: When selecting optical-electrical hybrid cables, factors such as bandwidth requirements, transmission distance, anti-interference ability, and cost need to be considered, and the appropriate fiber and copper wire ratio should be flexibly selected according to the actual situation.

Q: How to choose the appropriate ratio of optical fiber and copper wire according to the actual situation?

A: Choosing the appropriate fiber and copper wire ratio requires comprehensive consideration based on actual transmission needs and environmental conditions. For example, if long-distance transmission is required and the ability to resist interference is high, a higher proportion of optical fibers can be selected for data transmission; in some short-distance transmission scenarios, the proportion of copper wires can be appropriately increased to reduce costs. Select the appropriate fiber and copper wire ratio by comprehensively considering factors such as bandwidth requirements, transmission distance, anti-interference ability, and cost.
